7/2/09 A Quiet Moment

I scooted over this afternoon to give Donald the keys and to check out what was going on. Donald has almost completed all of the locks. He filled the hole in the front door that was left from the old knob with PC Woody so we just need to wait for that to dry before sanding and repainting. Other than that, all knobs are on!

The crew was there sanding the floors while he was changing locks. The floors look really good. Donald had completely pulled out the old stove while I was at work and there are definitely pine floors underneath. I called NuNu to give me an estimate so I can get those refinished as well. He promised that everything will be done by the end of next week and that Monday they would rip up the linoleum in the kitchen and bleach out any dark areas that needed to be done. I didn't do much else.

Check out the 1st bedroom now!

Notice the dark stains next to the wall. Once that is finished, it will appear even darker. Thats what needs to be bleached out.

Heres the VERY DIRTY tub. The red area is where the glaze has chipped off. The red stuff is actually a filler that was used to patch indentions in the tub.
