A Lazy Weekend

I fully intended on doing lots of work this weekend buuuttt that didn't happen. Since Katie was out of town, I took Jack for the night and he got to check out the new dig. He got to smell all of his new back yard and seemed quite excited to have so much space. Saturday I cleaned out the garage/storage room. I moved everything out, swept down all of the cobwebs from the walls and windows, and vacuumed the floor. I painted over the rusty areas of the metal shelving units that the former owners left behind and moved everything back in. It looks SO much better with just a little bit of work! I then power washed the porch and patio. Again, what a big difference! After that I drove to Woodlake and took out the boat with Ben and some friends to watch the fireworks.

It rained Sunday and I didn't really feel like doing much. Jeff helped me bring over my grill and some patio chairs and we moved the rest of the stuff out of the kitchen. No active leaks in the garage! Hooray!

The wood floors should be finished by the end of the week and then we can start moving in.
